Harold's door into video production was the word. He's written for a variety of media,including video and film, the web, comics, annual reports and exhibits.
He's also had extensive location and post-production
experience on film and video projects shot in a dozen countries in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
Since founding eastmanvideo in 1998, with partner Dianne Eastman, his focus has been on documentary-style video production with a specialty in research and education.
Don brings a photographer's eye to eastmanvideo, as well as a depth of technical understanding and skill.
A graduate of Ryerson's renowned photography school, he's had extensive experience in image making, from large-format view cameras, through medium format and 35mm film and digital. Now he's applying that knowledge to digital video.
Dianne's graphic design sense and adverstising experience shows in every eastmanvideo production.
She worked for many years as an art director and creative director at several major Toronto ad agencies, creating television and print for a variety of clients including Coke, Levi's and Christie's.
Since leaving advertising. she's devoted her time to freelance illustration, graphic design, book design and, of course, video.
